Die Sporen sind braun-schwarz und feinstachelig, mit 15 - 16,5 µm aber zu gross für Diderma crustaceum. Ansonsten passt die Beschreibung gut.

Notizen: Für spumaroides werden Sporen von 9-10 µm angegeben
