Pileus brownish-pink, on the margin remaining long pink, rarely with complete pink-reddish coloured pileus, especially in dry weather very finely scaly, also cracked, with alcohol red, stem yellow, against base with reddish tones, net like the ground or reddish coloured, context, pores and tubes bluing, in context of pileus distinctly above tubes or completely, in base of stipe often pink, guaiac –, without amyloid reaction, in the bites of the snails, especially on stem and at fresh basidiomata reddish colour, spores –14(–15) × 5(–6) µm, in average 11.6 × 4.6 µm, Q = 2.4–2.7, pileipellis hyphae with strong incrustations 3–5.5 µm broad, under deciduous trees, rather on lime (compare Rubroboletus pulchrotinctus)
